I squirrel hunt with a Henry youth .22 lever and love it....but currently have a little cheap Chinese scope on it...it has such a small field of vision I have trouble finding the squirrels with it once I see them with my naked eye and them raise the gun to get on them....once I finally find them the trusty little Henry will faithfully pop them!
Any suggestions of some scopes that would fit and work better on my little squirrel killer without breaking my bank??? Thanks

I like the Simmons Triplex 3-9 x 32. $40 on Amazon.

Re: Good scope for Henry youth lever
I'm using a Simmons 4x shotgun scope on my youth rife. I cobbled up a mounting system to move it forward enough to get the right eye relief with the shorter stock. I would definitely suggest a shotgun or dedicated rimfire scope because most of them are parallax corrected to 50 yards instead of 100. I've found 4x to be perfect for squirrels. Fixed power scopes are usually shorter too.

Natchez has a Weaver Classic Rimfire scope: 2.5-7x28 for $109.99. That's a good scope.
