I really enjoyed the first couple of seasons but once the character Ragnar Lothbrok was killed I quickly lost interest .... with this being the last season, I'll probably tune in to see how the show has developed

the 2 hr season premier tonight introduced several new story lines .... all of them seem to point to a major battle looming
