Ruger M77 .280
I took the Leupold fixed 12X target scope off my Ruger. My sad eyes just couldn't make out that fine duplex cross hair very well. Anyway put on a Burris E1 6.5X20 with side focus on it. I took it out today to try and dial in. I did okay but will try to do better. 100 yrd target.

At 100 yards and my own shakiness, I'd be pleased with those results! Good shooten'!

Re: Ruger M77 .280
Thanks Mags. Just in the past I could do better but alas, age has caught up to me. Back in my days at TCU used to know a gal named Susan Sandusky. She was on the shooting team there. I tell you she could shoot damn well.

I've got retinal vein occlusion. Lasik won't help. I get shots of Avastin in my eyes monthly.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I'm a fan of the M77 .... the first centerfire deer rifles I gave our sons were M77 308's .... had to cut down the stocks for them .... both took deer with them and they still have their rifles .... I'd like to see yours down the line
