I have been eyeballing a rifle in .35 Rem at one of my local shops for a while now. It's not as cool (and old) as a model 8, but not too far off...a pre-1920 Remington Model 14 pump. The price is a little high for the condition, but a nice piece regardless.

Now that was neat. As advertised. " to the dismay of ammo collectors......."! Priceless!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Those Remington pumps in 35 Remington - the 14, 141, 760 - have been very popular, up here for deer hunting. I still see them come up for sale, but they sell, quick. Oddly enough, though, the Marlin 336 in 35 Remington wasn't nearly as popular.

Al, I have three, and not a one with any Brass.
I would like to have one with an Octagon, I may have to build it myself.

I have a Savage pump, was/is my first 35.

You know, even though I'm not one that is all crazy about the shinny brass.
If they offered it with an octagon barrel.

But then there's all that clutter on the forearm.
Plain or none at all would be fine.
But I/we have discussed all this before.
I so would like to have a 35 and a 444 with an octagon barrel.

I took a look at Henry's current line lineup. The closest, looks like the CCH Big Boy in .44mag. Octagon barrel, no brass, not quite the desired caliber.
