for home use we have an Outset Cast Iron Grill Pan with 12 Oyster Slots... ours can be seen in the first thee pictures, the last two are promotional pictures .... being cast iron it is heavy and heavy duty .... it is too large to use with the grill we use at home and on the road .... at home we use it in the oven and while traveling we can use it with or 3 burner camping stove .... we've used it to cook oysters in the shell, on the half shell and shelled .... we are ordering a smaller one to use with our camping grill
Oysters...bring em on!! Don't even have to cook them for me... :D

I know a few guys that have eaten them raw and ended up flat on there back in the hospital. No raw ones for me. Dad liked them raw with tabasco sauce. I like them smoked.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

no clue, once the word Sushi is mentioned, I'm out of the conversation .... for me the reality is I simply don't care for the taste of fish .... do enjoy several types of seafood .... as noted above, we did order a smaller Cast Iron Oyster Grill Pan with 6 cups (for lack of a better term) ====> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MR ... UTF8&psc=1 .... interesting to read that it can also be used to cook corn bread, drop biscuits, single serving mac 'n' cheese and such .... we believe the grand kids will get a kick out of us making "special" individual servings of mac 'n' cheese for them .... these pans must be a pretty good seller because they are out of stock with more due in a little over a week from now

Jim
I use only Hickory and Mesquite. Either one of those I like. I have used Apple and a few others. Apple does a good job with pork. But Im not to fond of it with any of the other meats.
