Welcome to the Henry world, leverfan.

You have provided another case in point why so many folks say Henry Customer Service is second to none.

I hope you love your new Henry so much, you have to go out and buy another. I sure did!

Update: Omar in New Jersey is expediting a new stock. I'm guessing it will be in my hands before the end of the week. Maybe this won't be my only Henry!
no surprise there .... as noted in a post above, Henry does have exceptional customer service .... as also noted, please add it to our community's total

IDK, maybe the new Garden gun. Right now I'm fighting a rodent resurrection with 22lr shotshell thru a Ruger New Model Single Six. The rifle may be a tad quieter and definitely farther range.

[Earlier] Thanks for the welcome and the advise. I did send an e-mail rather than calling...

I have only seen one Sidegate, and it was a 30-30.

Yep truly above and beyond.
Henry had no obligation to replace it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
