Wow, didn't know there were this many talented musicians and the like here. Nice. I play[or played] my Fender Strat and beloved Telecaster for years. Strat for everything Mark Knophler does and that Tele for when I felt a little country twang was needed. Still have 'em. Just don't play as much. Different things to do. But, now that I've read this, well.........

Me. Rubber Soul was the very first LP I bought as a young teen. I now have every recording the Beatles made as a group, including the original Mono versions that were not released by Capitol in the USA. If you've never heard them in mono, do yourself a favor and find them. Awesome. George Martin was a genius.
