Yes, anyone considering what type of air gun is best for his or her style of shooting should progress, slowly. I do have PCP air guns and some very good ones, at that. I also have a nice collection of pump up classics. The type of gun that suits me best, though, is still the spring piston. I'm the type of shooter who tends to get ultra absorbed in her shooting and I do not like having to interrupt my shooting for the sake of refilling a PCP or pumping a gun between shots. I can shoot a springer for as long as I want without having to stop for refills or wearing myself out with a lot of pumping. That's me, though.
