A little tree trimming today with .44 Special and mild 44 Mag loads. Had the Ruger .44 Special BH Flat Top out along with the Uberti 1873 44 Mag carbine. Both really nice to shoot and like that 44 Special load of 240 SWC with 7 gr. Unique. Also the Target shack is working out great with all the steel easy to get to and setup plus added a small vise on the bench today. Will be cutting the grass around there very soon!

What caliber would that be Gene? I had one in 45 Colt/.410 and it was a bit hard to pull the hammer back but it shot fine until the hammer blew off one day. Sent it back and Bond fix it but no mention of WHY. Traded it off and kept part of the hammer. It has a definite weak spot where it is notched out for the moving hammer part.
