Called CS yesterday. Promised a call back.
Got no call back but status today indicates repairs complete, ready to ship.
No tracking number yet.
We shall see, since no indication of what repairs were implemented.

Check your warranty status at Henry's website https://www.henryusa.com/henry-warranty/
The repair made should be posted there eventually. My experience is that they aren't real prompt at putting the repair info there, so check back occasionally or frequently.

Rifle returned to me today. Note enclosed indicates front sight was replaced and rifle test fired!
I found that a bit strange since my prime issue was that I could not get the rifle to shoot on paper at 50 yards WITH TWO DIFFERENT SCOPES USING EXTREME TRAVEL.
I had no issue with the rifle failing to fire!
So took it to local range to see if any improvement noted......
Installed a Leopold Vari-X III 3X7 that I picked up at a gun show, got it zeroed in 3 shots (See 5 shot group in picture attached). I cannot explain how the installation of a new front sight had ANYTHING to do with the rifles vast improvement since I used a SCOPE??
I am happy with the result!

Might that new front sight be a euphemism for a new barrel too? ;)

Either way, good shootin'.

I think that you are absolutely correct. I had adjusted the rear sight "up" before I sent the rifle off for warranty service. Rifle was returned with rear sight down (as in a new in box rifle)
Action still had marks from my installation of scope rings. New front sight had NOTHING to do with fix......
