Will a Barrel for an H001 go right onto an H001ML receiver?

I have a dead air mask that's currently waiting on Form 4 approval and in trying to figure out how to make it so that my kiddo's H001ML will accept a suppressor, I think I've come up with a solution.

Buy a H001 replacement barrel, have it cut down and threaded so that it's just a tad longer than the H001ML barrel in order to accept a thread on suppressor. My Local gun shop agree's that there is not enough barrel on the Mare's Leg to thread it w/o the suppressor hitting the magazine tube and they don't want to modify the tube and front mount.

Yes I know I'll have to remove the can to reload and I've accepted that reality.

I didn't buy the can specifically for the H001ML (even though it's the loudest 22LR I have, but my goal is to make the fun little plinker even more fun :)

I don’t believe Henry will sell just a barrel. You will need to send them the receiver and bolt so they can match it up. You might be able to find a used barrel but I would question its history.

Too answer your question yes it can be done but you really need to know what you are doing.

Have you looked at the suppressor-ready Henry H001TSPR?

Yes, I'd prefer to keep the pistol and make it can compatible.

I'm going to have my local shop do all the work, just trying to gather info and parts.
