New 22 LR Garden Gun?

Now my question is... since it has no rifling it can't be consider a rifle as per ATF and it is chambered for .22LR so not a
shotgun. So could it have any shorter barrel length than 16 inches?

I'm no legal gun expert but because it was 'technically' designed as a shotgun, with a typical length stock, and not an 'AOW', I believe it will most likely fall under standard shotgun regs and that means 18" minimum barrel length.

I don't know that I'd roll the dice on that scenario, but you never know, right?

As noted elsewhere, it's a bit of a head-scratcher, but you have to give HRA some credit for doing their research before developing and launching such a niche model.

It may never be a "top 10" (or 20?) seller for them, but hopefully not their version of New Coke, either.

From what I understand, there was enough interest in the concept for Kentucky Gun Co. to solicit several different manufacturers to build one. Henry accepted the challenge.

If ya think about it not much R & D required - all they are doing is building a typical .22 with no rifling.
