Re: New 22 LR Garden Gun?
Did not Annie Oakley use a smooth bore 22 to shoot thrown objects?
Something about this gun peeks my interest.
But then I was sure the pig was a opossum.

I’ve shot a ton of rats with my rifled .22 and the CCI shot shells. Looking at the patterns Plinkster got with the H001 I’m actually surprised I ever got a single one as we shoot from close to 30’ away from the bird feeder they steal seed from. I’d buy one of the garden guns for sure if I had more of a rodent population.

Well, I just talked to a guy that was pretty interested in getting one. He's a beekeeper with a dragonfly problem. Probably not as cost effective as a badminton racquet, but more fun for sure.

Re: New 22 LR Garden Gun?
Many of you have probably already seen this, but just in case, here's 22Plinkster with the new Garden Gun. Interesting that he notes that the effective range is probably 20 ft with the CCI shotshells, which doesn't seem that far away (does it?) when talking about small, quick critters that are scared of you to begin with.
He also seems to explain the "Why?" of it all in the beginning, which is basically that nobody makes a true, smooth bored 22LR Garden Gun anymore.
Interesting, too, is the commentary on the stained ashwood stocks...

Re: New 22 LR Garden Gun?
I watched it from a link in my email earlier today. I was a decent presentation, I just can't think of why I would want one. There must be a niche but it simply is not for me.
