Three days since you posted, OP.
What are your thots now on the "buy-it-decision" after all the very helpful commentary?!?

BTW, Henry .22 magnums are good shooters. I had one. ;)

My experience is when tempted by something and I hesitate - I have lost it! Not all the time but enough - let your conscious guide you.

I tend to maul things over rather than just jump right in. I figure if I wait a while and think on a purchase and it's still there when I'm ready, it was meant to be. If it isn't, there was a reason for that. It will be interesting to find out what was decided.

So how did that 'maybe' work out for you?

The LGS has a golden boy silver in .22 Mag used, but looks new that has me very tempted. Probably best if I avoid the temptation though.

Maybe.

Same with me!
Which is why I have lost many things to waiting.

Seems I always have a few guns on my want list. And when they go on sale it just about drives me nuts. I'm not a rich man and can't just go buy on a whim.
OP let us know what happened!

I can put money down at my local LGS to lay guns away and pay it off when I can. That can make it almost too easy sometimes to make a decision.

Mauling things over for a time has kept me from making more mistakes than just jumping right in has done me well. As I've said before, If it's meant to be it will be. If not, Oh well. :|
