I don't know if we have the Eastern variety over here on the 'East' side - I'll have to look a little closer at them.We also have the non-native Eastern Gray squirrel brought here in 1919.

Eastern Grey (non-native) and Western Grey (native).
The Eastern Grey look a lot like the Western Grey, but with brown/red in their fur.
The Western Grey adult is larger in size.

Yep - got a HERD of Westerns running around but I'll have to look closer to see if there are any of the Easterns - but I don't recall seeing any with that color.
