just bought the 22 mag Hoo1 blued barrel 11+1 rounds in the tube. Already had the big boy 357 mag. 22 mag is a great fun shooter. The Ammo is a bit pricey, but I love shooting it. Beautiful wood, light and quick to maneuver. It was just another gun to add to the fleet. always wanted a 22mag, I don't regret the purchase.

Does it have to be a lever gun? I have a H003TM pump in .22 WMR, and it is fun to shoot. If the carbine was offered in .22 WMR, I would likely go that way. Is it something you plan on walking with? If so, you may want to avoid the extra weight of a really long or octagon barrel.

Henry's offering of the H001TMLP is a .22WMR Small Game Carbine.

I thought they had one...I looked at the classic, and was confused...my simple mind thought the Small Game duo were sold as a set, duh.

Understood. I have the SGC in .22LR (H001TLP). Excellent shooter, and the receiver-mounted Skinner peep is a plus.

The .22 mag in a lever gun is a natural, wish I owned one.

All rifles are different. But it's a pretty safe bet that you will be happy with ANY Henry you buy.

Hell, My very first Henry purchase is a basic H001 classic. And it shoots Minute Of Squirrel's Head at 60 yards.
Basic stock iron sights.
