PT7 -- SGC has a Range Pardner
PT7 -- SGC has a Range Pardner
I rarely take more than one firearm at a time to the range. Alongside my Henry SGC .22LR, I've decided it now has a Range Pardner; my new 1873 Stallion .22LR Six-Gun. And it is a "bronze" thing!
In different posts, I've shown the photo of my Henry Carbine with the special-ordered bronze ghost ring sight I added. Simply changed the blued stock receiver-mounted Skinner to "A Touch of Bronze."
Last evening I cleaned my 1873 Stallion after its second range visit. I realized why this is, to my eyes, such a sharp-looking CCH revolver. It's because of the added "bronze" components surrounding the trigger guard, and top & bottom of the grips. But I've not taken pictures of the Stallion with a view from the bottom. So here is that view, along with one photo of the CCH frame.
I think my future range visits when shooting .22LR caliber will now include both the SGC and the Stallion. They belong together, and are really "Pardner .22s." I like this pardnership. Looks like I'll be having double the fun at the range.

Good for you. I can't honestly remember the last time I took only one gun to the range. Just the opposite, in fact. I tend to be guilty of taking too many.

Sweet! That's the one I wanted, but my LGS would have to order it, and they had the 12 shot Cattleman in stock. Love brass (to match my GB Carbine), and it's still on my list, but likely in a .38. Shot the Cattleman yesterday for several hours, and it's a dream!
