You got it E2! He must have been having a dip in the pool and jumped the fence when he saw me coming with the mighty .22!

Thanks Ojai! We’re a little Squatchier here in the PNW, but you’ve got them fairly close.

How is the fall going down there? We were in Sonoma the week before fire season really hit, and going to be back in Ventura County in a couple of weeks. Still hot and dry I bet?

Well, Henry didn’t come through with the taller front site in time for opening day, but since we didn’t see any birds or rabbits I guess it didn’t matter anyway. I did shoot some tiny spuds off of toothpicks though. It’s just tougher to do when you can’t aim at what you’re trying to hit...

Either way, a good time was had by all. Unfortunately the answer to the question on the camper door is “no”.

And so Henry finally got me the replacement sight for my SGC, and as is typical with my luck lately, they sent the exact same incorrect sight that was on it when I bought it... I’ll be bugging them Tuesday for a second go round.

This is why I like the Henry rimfires. You can do this to them and not destroy their value like it would a 39A or a 9422.
