Congratulations. As I was paying for mine, the seasoned LGS manager came over and said something like, "A Henry! You're gonna have a lotta fun with that!" He didn't lie.

My h001 was 225. The place I got it from has 10 percent off firearms sales on occasion. I bought four of my five Henry's that way. The store near me relocated. The chain doesnt have the 10 percent off sales as much either.

Im glad to hear a Walmart still sells guns.

Enjoy yours and keep telling us about it.

Sweet little rifle, Had rings and a hammer spur at home. along with an old weaver k-2.5. It fit the rifle beautifully with no objective bell it really looks good. Off to camp and sand bagged it, extremely fun to shoot and quite accurate as well .Had some 6"-8" steel hanging at 50 yds..rang it like a bell off hand. So now im in the Henry rimfire section as well as the center fire. Glad to meet you all!

X3 on the Weaver scope...what I've seen so far of scopes mounted on Henry lever actions, these are the best-looking ones.
Congrats on the H001! Solid & smooth. ;)

Just a few comments on the K2.5: Its a centerfire scope and the parallax is set for 100 yards. But they claim you can be viewing off center as much as half an inch so I think that might make it okay for rimfire distances.

My bad fellas. The weaver k-2.5 post is on a Rem 788 carbine .308. The one I dug out yesterday was a vintage Banner 2.5 by bushnell. Saw that in the morning when I got it out again to take to camp. Great vintage add posted. love that stuff. Got a raccoon problem at camp! Will cure that shortly...lol 6 of them on the game cam last night!

That scope would have been made in Japan.

Yes that's it! A great little scope, very clear. Each time I traded a rifle I kept the scope, rings and bases. They are considered a "free bee' when doing business. So over the years I have collected lots of scopes that are now considered vintage. And save lots of dollars when equipping new rifles. No trip to the LGS just dig through the gold at home and off to the range. 8-)

Seems like Wally is the new LGS. .22 ammo has been hard to find here and expensive $6.50 a box of 50 rds. Today I found some at Wally (Thunderbolt rem. 500 rd boxes for $24.00.) Bought 2,000 rds. lol Henry will get warmed up.
