My SGC found its way back home from the Henry repair shop yesterday. As expected, the fix was complete replacement of the barrel. The front sight now sits perfectly straight. I took it to the range over lunch today, and got it dialed in once again. Even with the fix, the rear sight needed to be drifted to the left quite a bit, just not quite as much as before. There's no obvious reason for that that I can see now, so I'm not going to worry too much about it. That's why sights are adjustable, I suppose.
As far as turnaround times go, the gun was out of my possession for 20 days. Henry had it for 15 of those days.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Re: SGC .22LR first range trip
Glad you got it back. I’ve found that I need a taller front sight with mine, but at least they are just sending me the part for that. I’d hate having to send it to them. I found mine to be good for windage though. Groups are really tight!
