I haven't used them much beyond 25yds, and have had pretty good luck. I have noticed some tumbling with the Aguila SSS 60 grain subsonics, though.

I was actually thinking of the 60 Aguila when I posted.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

The 22Mag was tempting, Al, but this SGC, for me, was more about plinking and range work than varmints!

Im not shooting vermits with mine right now either. I just bought it because I like the caliber. But in case I took off out of here on a trip I would have one I could use for that. I think I found some armscor 22 mag ammo pretty reasonable on ammoseek. So I bought a couple of bricks. But I get the plinking. Im a plinker also. Im like SH the SGC is the best levergun in 22LR out there right now. Just my opinion.

Have never tried Armscor, but have seen it plenty on Ammoseek. Have you ever tried it in 22LR?

I agree 150% with your opinion, BigAL, on the SGC being the best out there.
Spot-on reason for owning this Henry rifle!!

I havent tried it yet. I have so much other 22 ammo I havent had the need to buy anymore. But I wouldnt hesitate to buy some. I have seen it for less than .04 cents a round when you buy 5000.

So a quick question for those of you with “dialed in” SGCs... I haven’t shot mine yet as I just got it on Tuesday, but I’m curious as to whether or not they actually sight them in at all when test firing. I only ask because my Skinner is installed quite a bit to one side, and I would think if they don’t sight them in, they would more or less center the rear sight.
