So even if I noticed it they would have just had to send it back for another one.
A least it would have been on THEM and not you.
Second gun this year I have had to send back.
Second Henry or something else?

No it was a S&W 617-6. I had to send a Ruger back last year also. But both are fine shooters now as this Henry will be too. I'm sure they will make it right.

Get that Goldenboy on the bus back to the factory for a quick fix and then off to the range....

Guy's,
The Henry is due to be home on Friday the 14th. That is 4 day's shy of a month. They must really be swamped. My Ruger and S&W was at 2 weeks each. Oh well, I will see how she shoots tomorrow after I get home from work. They did replace the barrel.

That does seem to be a long turn around for them. Maybe the "specialist" for that model was on leave.

I'll be surprised if it's not everything you expected now.

An optimistic thought but I suspect Henry is dealing with the same problems most employers are these days.

put my Skinner sight and sling and studs back on the rifle and took her out to the range and sighted her in. No problems, shot well and straight. It was the correct thing to send her back.
