I like the Henry. I really like the saddle and hat. I recognize it from your Winchester Classic photo over on MO. It is a great set for gun photos.

The beauty about the painted Henry covers is that you can do whatever you like to them, and if you're not happy with the result you can either just change it again or buy a replacement. It's a win-win all round.

Any idea of any way to make a faux case hardened look? My son did son car painting at one time and seemed like there was something they did ...put some clear cellophane on wet paint and pulled it off to give metal dadh boards a marblized look or something....I will have to ask him....just wondered if there was something similar you could do to mimic the case hardning look
