Just a correction/update and most of all THANK YOU.
I said H001, its actually a H001T. I still haven't had a chance to shoot it, but when I'd try to draw a bead on a tree crotch in the yard I was having a heck of a time with the factory buckhorn. I just finished putting a Williams FP-GR w/ target knobs and a Lyman 17A front sight on and I can draw right down. Had to be the sights, 40 years ago I didn't have any trouble shooting my Dad's '73 Winchester! Can't be my eyes.
I want to thank the people on this forum for all the info here. I researched the various sights here and on other forums before I bought them, then found a Williams on sale. I really want a Tang Sight (I like the looks), when I find one at a price I like, I'm going to put the Williams on my Remington 582. My oldest son found it and him swapped for Grandpa's '73. John
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
