They usually get stuff out in one or two days.

Receive the screws. Wrong size.....I will call them Monday. I believe I am cursed by someone at Henry, given the problems I have had. :)

Called Henry and was informed that I would have to contact Skinner direct and they don't handle problems with Skinner sites (Jeff). This after I talked to two other CS reps and neither one said anything about that and they sent me a set of screws?????? He apologized and said they have new CS reps. So...basically I wasted three weeks trying to get one little screw from a place that does not handle parts on a rifle they sell and did not tell me until now. Really? This is so wrong.

If I am reading this correctly you called Henry about screws for the SKINNER sight? If this is the case then these are not 'parts' for a rifle they sell but parts for an accessory, non-Henry item.
Try this next time - go to your local LGS and ask if they have a screw assortment kit for basic sight/scope mount screws. if they do it should contain a variety of 6-48, 8-40 and some other sizes common to all gun sight mountings. Been there, done this.

So...I am in the wrong here? Doesn't matter. Henry called me back and said they will send me a replacement Skinner. I think Jeff did some investigation into the circumstances. He said the sight will be here in a couple of weeks.

You are victorious here. Obviously Skinner wants to stay in the good graces of Henry owners!

That is nothing. Xfinity turned my cable off because I was reported as dead. They did it twice. The second time I didn't bother getting it turned back on and just went with Verizon for internet. I have not had TV in about nine months and don't miss it one bit.

Speakin of TV I mentioned this to the wife last night as I finished my basement work out. 250 channels on that thing and there all reality shows which I could careless about. Its a waste of money anymore. Even football is boring. Guess if I wanna watch football I can go to the bar.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Skinner sells a spare parts kit for their sights thats only $4/kit - after reading this thread I think I may order one or two of those - cheap insurance to keep the sights working....

A lot of us have collected spare firearm repair widgets over the decades and can fix a lot of small issues right at home. The Skinner spare parts kit is something that can save the day when you need it right then and there.
