H001 with Williams FP-GR pic needed.
Does anyone have a picture they could share of any H001 or similar Henry with the Williams FP-GR peep attached? Found a few online doing a Google search but can't find any of the left hand side. I would like to see how much the sight overhangs the sides of the reciever cover before purchasing. Thanks!

Thanks for the pic. When I was trying to find pics, I found that several folks online felt as though the sight was too bulky for the Henry. Mostly complained that it overhung both sides of the reciever excessively. Looks like it would be fine based on your pic.

That's the FP with target knobs and I added the gib lock knob.

I'm debating between the the Williams sight and a Marbles tang for the H001 my son got me for Christmas. What front sight is needed/suggested for the Williams? I'll probably just be plinking, but as I get more free time, may do some squirrel hunting next fall too. John

A Marbles is more authentic and posibly more accurate (longer sight radius) but it's also more of a chore to install. The Williams is easy to install. I didn't need to change the front sight on my Octagon.tinnerjohn wrote:I'm debating between the the Williams sight and a Marbles tang for the H001 my son got me for Christmas. Thanks for the replies. I do like the looks of the tang sight better. Maybe I'll get another rifle so I can have one of each. John
