It is indeed a very cool and unique knife. It is a right handed knife only, do to the way the curved bone handle is attached to the blade. Pick it up with left hand and it won't present the single edge correctly. It would be pointed up. I don't use it much because. ...well it just to nice to use. But it works very well. A great chopper.

BTW the lever wrap on the SGR is an experiment. It is a left over piece white buck skin that Flora (wife) had left over from making medicine bags for the grandkids' I was watching her using her hot glue gun and I thought maybe I could use that for a wrap instead of lace. So I glued the buckskin to the lever and the jury is still out. I have not shot the .22 yet with it on. We will see how it holds up. It is messy to use glue if you have not used it before. I had not( wife laughing in the back ground). It is hard to get the edges to meet so it does not show lever. Since it was a piece of scrap it was not primo for the use. Like I said, it is messy. But with practice, I think I would better. It does give a sleek look with out the lacing. We will see.
