Evil Roy 22

Post by RudyN » Sat Feb 04, 2017 5:45 pm

Right now I have a Big Boy in 45 Colt and am considering getting a Evil Roy to go with it. I assume it is a nicely made as the Big Boy. Has anybody here shot on lately and how was it? The only 22 rifles I have right now are Ruger 10/22s so I really don't have something to compare it to.

For what it's worth - we've got three 10/22's but after we bought a Golden Boy and a Small Game Carbine, we almost always grab the Henrys when we go out for 22 plinking - just seems more fun with a nice lever gun...

You wont be sorry with the Evil Roy. I have two of Henrys levers in 22 and I have other semi auto 22's. Like one other poster stated when I take out a 22 its always the lever there just more fun. I have the Monument Valley and the same gun in a blue model. The Golden Boy is also a very nice gun but the drop in the stock just doesnt fit me. Al

That 10 day wait is a cooling off period so don't shoot anyone with the new gun . I guess they don't think you would shoot some else with a different gun you have already in your house like your 10-22 you have already . This law is so funny and stupid .

Congratulations on your Evil Roy. I recently purchased one in 22LR. I cleaned and lubed it but still haven't been able to get to the range. I'm just chomping at the bit to shoot that rifle!!! I haven't even shot it but am already thinking of another lever action ... LOL.
