Hi, I have a question about external care what is recommended to keep the Brass and Walnut stock looking good do you put anything on the stock? I was at the Henry website it says not to use the Big Boy Polish on the brass I have been just wiping it down with Golden Boy Cloth, as for the Stock just a quick wipe. I use oil a wipe on the blued areas then back to the gun sock and into the Gun safe.

I don't know anything about the brass but the only thing I do for my wood is wax it if I am taking my rifle out in the weather.

Lots of guys here use Renaissance wax you can get it on Amazon. I just use plain ole lemon pledge. Its carnauba wax and has always worked for me. Never Dull works good on the brass and they have brass polish at Walmart. Just make sure you get a can with no ammonia in it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks, on a different gun forum someone was saying to oil the stock but it didn't sound right. I will look for brass polish without ammonia in it,
