Will do. I don't hunt so 45-70 would be crazy for target shooting for me.

Good news so far: my Cimarron dealer says he will get me an 1885 one way or another; either Cimarron or through Taylor's. I told him my preference is the High Wall in 45 Colt, but will take a Low Wall. I originally ordered the Low Wall because Cimarron only offered it in 45C, but Taylor's offers both so we'll see what he comes back with. Might be a licensing thing with the different importers he says. Either way, he is confident I'll get what I want.

Likely be mid to late summer but that's ok.

Update: Cimarron is a no go.

Looks like I can get one through my dealer from Taylors. Late summer earliest. Fingers crossed.
