Well, I hope all goes well with the rifle delivery. Hoping they got the order right, it's 45 Colt not 45-70, straight stock not pistol grip, has the tang sight, etc but I am keeping it regardless and will reload whatever it is after waiting over a year.

Wow just read through this whole thread. First congrats on picking a fine rifle and I think you have the patience of a... well a person who is deeply religious. LOL. Looking forward to the first range reports.

It's been a journey. Not over yet. But yes, I cannot wait to shoot some longer distances.

Don't know, not up to me. Dealer has a shipment coming with all his orders from whoever his forwarder is. He is a Cimarron, Colt, and other mfg dealer.
