I think those 12" targets are a micro dot at 250 yds. But thanks for the vote of confidence.

That's great news, RR. You deserve some kind of award for hanging in there to get this gun. Can't wait for pics and a range report.

FFL stuff sorted out, Dixie is shipping to a dealer in Colorado, then they export to my dealer in Alberta, then I go pick it up....Guessing maybe sometime in August but who knows with the border stuff right now. Anyhow, the good news is that there is one with my name on it finally that is in a box.

While looking on the Dixie website they mention they cannot ship to Canada. Does it take a dealer with special export permit to send the rifle toRanchRoper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 8:32 pmFFL stuff sorted out, Dixie is shipping to a dealer in Colorado, then they export to my dealer in Alberta, then I go pick it up....Guessing maybe sometime in August but who knows with the border stuff right now. Re: Guess what I just ordered...
Yes. Must go to a US FFL dealer that is licensed to export, then to my guy who is licensed to have it come into Canada. DGW required their signed FFL to be able to release it. Fun process. Will believe it when I actually see it.
A huge part of the problem has been the caliber. I could order the same rifle in 45-70 from a shop in Canada and it would be at the post office in a week.
