Check out Hickock45 shooting the High Wall in 45-70. At about 16 minutes in he shoots some black powder rounds with 500 gr lead....holy smokes that's quite a round.
My 45 Colt will be nothing like this, however it will look the same pretty much. Should pump a 250 gr bullet down range fairly decent. Beautiful 1885 replica rifle for sure.

thanks for the link .... first time I've ever seen a video testing a High Wall .... with your loads I tend to believe it will "pump a 250 gr bullet down range fairly decent"

Actually I've seen the video quite a few times. Hickock45 has probably been the inspiration for the majority of my firearms. Now if I could only get a range like his I would be good to go. LOL

The income off of Youtube hasnt hurt that range ether I bet.
