But he was using a Light beer in aluminum pop tops. Old fashioned steel cans of real beer probably would have stopped it at 5 or 6 cans. :mrgreen:

I am so sad, I bought a box of HSM Bear loads, same weight and design bullet, and they completely choked in my BBX. None would get past the feed ramp. I really hoped they would cycle. I will have to make do with rounder profile bullets.

Has anyone here been able to get 300+ Gr .430” hardcast flat nose bullets to cycle through a BB? if so, what was the exact bullet and what was the OAL? Does the feed ramp need to be recontoured?

Right here John! At 1.623 I tried them in my .44 Carbine this morning. Checked them for cycling but did not fire. At home and not at my range.
