I just emailed Lehigh asking about the 750 fps discrepancy, I want to know what their true velocity recommendation is, and maybe return my box of 250 gr bullets if they simply won't work well in my BBX.
What is odd is that they have a .44 Mag reloading page and they are getting about 1400 fps from these in a .44 mag rifle. (And almost 2000 fps in a .444 Marlin.)
EDIT, I received a reply from Lehigh after about three hours, the bullet box label is a typo - BOTH bullets are good to speed as low as 750 fps. Which make a ton of sense, since the noses look identical.
