Don't know how it is anywhere else, but Gary's Pawn & Gun in Columbus is rationing ammo. Probably at the West Point store also. 9mm in particular is limited to 100rds/customer, 5.56/.223 is 500. Didn't look like they'd raised prices anything tho. Stopped in this morning to get some 9mm and a couple other things. Didn't see any noticeable difference in their gun inventory on display, including a couple Henry's, which I fondled. Yeah, customers can do that at Gary's without staff
assisting them, except for handguns. Ammo, powder, etc. is also stacked on the shelves like cans of soup.
Business is pretty good from what the staff told me, but not overwhelming them. Not a lot of people in there, about the same as any other Sat morn. A couple of the regulars, but no wild eyed first timers.
I've seen a whole lot more folks in the shop when they have one of their sales days or during our annual 2A tax holiday in the Fall.
I was in and out in 10 minutes.
