Got an email from Hornady today, saying the are fully committed to keeping up production during the corona virus situation.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Re: Hornady ammo
With guns & ammo of all calibers flying off the shelves, this doesn't surprise me. I expect the other manufacturers are doing the same. When the fish are biting, keep fishing.

Yep, I've used a bunch of it. That's the only brand I've used for

You have to be careful reloading their brass though. Primers don't always seat well.

Re: Hornady ammo
It's funny, (interesting) seeing the local ammo run.. One larger locally owned sporting goods store that always has a good selection of ammo has closed for two weeks because of the virus. The other (even bigger) fleet type store is completely out of 9mm, 30-30, .223, .270, and pretty much everything else. Except there is gobs of .44 mag on the shelf, and a number of boxes of 45 colt, 454, 45-70, 300 mag, and (believe it or not) tons and tons of .22 long rifle. It's good to hear that Hornady is gonna keep trucking. I also like a lot of their stuff.

Re: Hornady ammo
I have never really shot that much of their ammo, I do have several boxes and a couple different calibers sitting in the ammo safe.
For back up, most all of my shootin is done from my own loading.
I do have a variety of their bullets here for that purpose though.
