45 Colt ammo in new "rustic" container
45 Colt ammo in new "rustic" container
I just received my order of Choice 45 Colt ammo today. Not an earth-shattering post; just a fun foto. (Also helps me remember what ammo is stored in what container when I document with photos).
I think this is my third or fourth order from this company since I got my Russian top break last year. They must have changed the packaging, or alternate what they use....don't know for sure.
Anyway, all previous orders came in a plastic jar as seen on the left.
I like this more rustic-looking bag, which my 250 rounds are in.
Seems to somehow make Cowboy-action ammo more Cowboy.

P.S. Doesn't that Henry Orange towel highlight our photos nicely?

That container is more likely closer to those that carried tobacco than ammo, but you're right... it is more rustic than a plastic jug. Cool bag. I'd keep it when it was empty.

The towel is a great backdrop for the story you're telling. I'm a sucker for fabric bags like that, too. And leather ones, and burlap ones.
Thanks for the pic!

Yup, it'll be a keeper. It is pretty stout material to be able to tote 250 rounds of 45 Colt bullets.
Just might find I can carry some BP supplies in it when I go to a shoot. Little like a "possibilities bag," sans the pockets.
No tobacco smell when I opened the box, so this bag missed that use!

Yeah, cool bag.
What did you give for the 250 rds., if you don't mind me asking?
