.45LC Shortage?

Post by Mags » Fri Mar 08, 2019 9:56 pm

Been shopping my LGSs for .45LC. Other than an expensive box or 2 of defensive rounds no .45LC to be found. Anything in the wind as to why?

No shortage here. Most stores don't stock alot but you can always find some.

Check with RR I think he has about 10K rounds at his house. I think he might of produced a world wide shortage

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

RR is still sucking it all up. :)

Step into the nearest Bi-Mart and have a look in their catalog. Order what and how much you want (make it a fair size order). They will call when it is in & pick up most of the shipping cost compared to the online shops.

Or you could learn to reload... ;)

Cabela's webpage shows a pretty good selection of 45 Colt ammo ===> https://www.cabelas.com/catalog/browse/ ... _ztype=GNU

BASS Pro has a larger selection of 45LC ===> https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/handgun ... pageSize:&

You can save your empty brass and have them reloaded here.

http://tenxammo.com/

I had some reloaded there but have yet to shoot them. You have to have at least 5 boxes to send them. I figured it was worth a try and including freight there and back it was about 20 cents a round cheaper than retail.

.
The past week went to a lot of places in a 15 mile radius. I came up with 3 boxes of 20 defensive. Got errands out tomorrow and will be checking some more.

I think you're low balling. I've seen the pictures. Must be a million rounds :roll:

I would not be a willing reloader. Hopefully won't come to that. BiMart, now that is a good idea. Have to find my member card :oops:
