Uh, actually not - the magazine spring isn't 'lifting' anything - it is maintaining PRESSURE on the loaded rounds - the slight additional weight of the bullets (approx. two ounces in 15 rounds - figuring the difference between 124 and 185 grain bullets) is not going to inhibit the magazine spring in any way.the magazine spring also has to be stronger to lift the extra weight of the bullets.
