I tried leverlution in my 30-30, never would I buy it for any gun again. Buddy tried it in his, same result, in a 5 shot group, 3 might be on paper at 100yfs, switched to old school 170gr. Remington, Winchester, and had five shot groups of 2”or less on the first round at 100yds.

They feed great in my Henry 44 steel carbine and are pretty accurate

Given the feedback on this ammo (from "it's great to it sucks"), and my own limited experience with it (I'm on the "it's great" side) I'd opine that the ammo is not the source of the problem that some folks apparently have with it accuracy wise. So that leaves only 2 other possibilities: 1. It's the gun. 2. It's the shooter. :)

.
3. Sloppy quality control between production runs. Some folks get lucky and get the good stuff and others don't.

Never had a problem with any Hornady ammo in decades of shooting their stuff, so it seems like a stretch that QC would be an issue with LevRev.

I’ve used it in both .41, and .44 with decent results. Overall I prefer federal fusion in my .44, and use either Speer gold dots or the leverevolutions in the .41. Accuracy wise they shoot well out of both rifles for me

As far as it just not shooting well in some rifles, that happens with other ammo and other rifles, too. I have a .257 Roberts Ruger 77 ultralight that seems to hate Hornady, but loves Federal Premium Nosler Partitions, which is OK, 'cause I do, too ;) . It's a light rifle with a thin barrel, so it's fussy, as is a Ruger #1-A 7X57; I've found ammo it likes, too. I suspect that lever rifles and single shots with 2 piece stocks can be fussier than most bolt actions, when it comes to feeding them.

I tried a box of it in my .357 BBSC. No bueno. Mine loves American Eagle 158 grain soft points.

My 41's (Henry rifle and Ruger SBHH) didn't shoot the factory loadings well at all. I reloaded with Lil Gun, with very good results. The factory loads cycled very well- no problems. My Marlins (diff. calibers) cycled/shot factory/reloads very well. Just my 2 cents.

My BBS 44M loves them! Feed great and very consistent accuracy! 50 yds on sand bags will consistently touch each other and the 100yd is about 1.5 " groups with only an inch lower than 50yds. Sight in at 100 and any deer you can see is in trouble. Their 225 grain is as accurate as heavier bullets but shoot much flatter.
