Sir Henry- did you ever do the test?
What rifle did you use?
How as your luck with Winchester?
My Henry is pretty picky about the ammo I feed it. I tried Hornady Critical Defense and it key-holed at 25 yards (hit the target sideways)...and couldn't find the paper at 100 yards.
Since my fiasco with Hornady I resolved to stay with CCI Total Metal Jacket bullet (I think the twist rate in the Henry rifles is wrong for the Hornaday ammo, the tech rep at Henry thinks its their plastic tips. Whatever, I'm not wasting any more money on Hornady.
