Think ammo prices are high now? A reality check: It ain't gonna get cheaper. Buy what you can now. Same for y'all reloaders.

Interesting. Last i figured out, my blue bullet 320grn sub sonic loads run me around 40cents per round. The JHP about .65 cents. The 315grn GCFP that I love from matts bullets runs me 43 cents for subs and about 45 cents for supers. so, for loaded ammo, 30 bucks isn't a terrible deal. The lead being 10 bucks over my cost to load it myself.

Looking at the link, aguilla, and Armscor are out. The rim is too thick for my freedom arms 83.

I got what I consider a good deal on 2 more boxes of HSM 44-40 from Cabela's. Called their central order center and they said a couple of stores had some in stock and I could have it shipped to my local Cabela's free shipping along with a 23.00 discount...SOLD! Going to use it for reloading as in dump out the powder and lead and use my loads!

Glad that I have two bullet moulds , a lifetime supply of lead and linotype and plenty of .45 Colt brass. Besides that I don't own a revolver in the "out of stock" caliber.

Got my T & B bullets[500 250gr coated rnfp] last week. About to order 500 coated 200gr rnfp from a place called "Summers Enterprises". Anyone here ever use their bullets?

Never heard of 'em, Tom.
Most, of my 45 bollits come from MB, but I have used other vendors before, but
it's been a while.
The last 38-55 bullets I ordered came from Bear Creek Supply, I really like those.
Hey Tom, just looked, they are $7.50 cheaper than MB.
Not sure how the shipping compares, good luck.
If ya do let us know how they work.

Randy, I believe a lot of these casters use the same machinery and most use Hi-tek coating, sooo, I figured I'd give them a whirl.
I can use in both acp and Colt loads. Picking up bullets while the getting is good. 8-)

I hear ya, I have been also. A little bit of ammo, but mostly components.
Did find a deal on some good SD 9mm Midway has Sierra 147 gr jhp for $9.99 a bx of 20.
I ordered 10 myself, free shipping over $75. Average like.58 cents a pc. for loaded SD ammo. ;)
They still have some, I just checked.
