To state the obvious, why would a government want to take its law abiding citizens firearms?
They have plans for us that we're not going to like and they don't want us fighting back.
Read your History, this won't be the first time it has been done.

Yep. That is what's obvious.

Yes, something is not right. And, it may not be pretty.

Went to Walmart last night, found some slugs for the shot gun. Better half got 6 out of 10. Left some for someone else!
The shelf was really bare! They were putting bbs for the slingshots in the ammo shelf!

yesterday we stopped by our local Cabela's to look at camping chairs .... while there I decided to look at ammo and reloading supplies .... NO ammo .... next to no reloading supplies .... NO primers .... NO powder ... a few small bags of new cases .... a half dozen boxes of bullets .... the salesman said they get in some on the truck each week and put them out as sometime the following day .... he said that no matter what time they put the stuff out, its gone within minutes ..... I was surprised at the small number and variety of die sets .... they did have a pretty good display of shotguns ... a few Henry rifles (on brass receiver, one X model, a couple of 22's) .... a dozen or so handguns .... by the way, their camp chair display was all but empty as well

Another reason the BP guns have been making smoke lately. I have plenty of powder caps and I dont see me running out of sparkin rocks anytime soon. Theres plenty of flint stone around.

Unfortunately that's the scenario around here. I'll make it by the lgs tomorrow to see if they got any primers in.

Our little LGS here is stocked with lots of primers; rifle and pistol. Winchester, CCI. The hardware store in town still has Federal primers. So far so good but I'm good for quite a few years with my stock now. Caps are an issue but I have a good stock of those too now and a guy working on more for me.
