I’m in your camp Gunny, lots of guns available around here. However, it’s very likely that a particular model may be hard to find but for the most part there’s lots of firearms available. Example would be I haven’t seem much in the way of home defense shotguns but field guns are plentiful. Ammo and components now that’s a different story. Local stores are wiped out of both.

Picked up another 500 CCI large pistol primers tonight. Good for quite awhile now I think. Powder/brass/lead/primers. Also have more Triple 7 powder coming and more caps. Should be able to make smoke for a few years.

Two weeks ago I bought 1400 Federal small rifle match primers. I also got 400 CCI large rifle benchrest primers in that buy. I got all of them for $60 from a private sale. Yesterday I went for a trip with my friend that I had located some 22 lr RWS/Geco Match ammo for him. Picked it up for $50/brick. He got four full bricks. Not bad for todays very inflated prices.

Ran into a contractor friend of mine yesterday at lunch.
He said I still have those two boxes of primers I told you I would give you. :D

We suppose to meet next week.
Pretty sure he's talking 2K.
He don't reload, bought 'em by mistake last year, thought they were BP primers. :o

I went to the local gun show this am. Crowd was unbelievable. Largest I'd ever seen there. No shortage of guns for sale, or ammo. thing was ( is ), prices were thru the roof. I saw one box of hunting ammo, 20 rd. box, for $80.00. Other prices were around that range also. Sad thing was, people were lined up to buy it.
Needless to say, I didn't buy anything.
Folks, this ain't going away any time soon.

Ugggggg. There’s a show in Post Falls ID next weekend. The building it’s in is small and gets very crowded in normal times. I had planned to stay away due to Covid and after your report I’m double sure I’m not going anywhere near it. When President Obama was re-elected in 2012 the local shows were crazy. Our Spokane show expanded to three buildings and one could hardly walk in the aisles. The last show I attended before Covid this show was down to one small building plus half another larger one. Hardly anybody in the aisles. I bet next weeks Post Falls show will be packed.

Gee, I wonder what might have motivated a large crowd like that? I bet it wasn't fire sale prices. ;)
