If they feed and bullet is of a hard cast type they should shoot well. All I shoot in now in 38/357 is cast lead bullets.
I'm glad to hear that, these are 1.57". What OAL do you use?
My 180 gr. cast Magnum load measures 1.585 and feed fine with the flat nose. Those little cherry bombs pack a punch!
It has been 6-7 years ago that I loaded these. My son has all the data, equipment and supplies. The label says seated - 1.57"

Powder-A-2400 13.2 gr.
Bullets are - 158gr LSWC
CCI 500 primers
seated 1.57

These shot well in a S&W 627PC so I loaded all the brass I had before sending everything else to him.

You should be fine with that load. At least you have ammo on hand. Not everybody can say that. You mentioned .38 spl loads. What are the specifics on those? If 158's, they should feed.

Ok, you should be good. The .38's may feed a bit different, but, they ought to work.

I have shot both 38special and 357magnum in my Big Boy Brass. Have used Falcon coated and Falcon lead in the following weights: 105 tcfp, 125 grain tcfp,135 grain round nose,158 grain swc and160 grain rn. All cycled and fired fine. Only issues on certain bullets if working lever to slow occasional jam of a cartridge.
