I can’t remember of ever shooting these. I found them in my stack of odds and end ammo. They sure are fast!

I wonder what the benefits are other than not being lead?

I can easily get within 25 yards of a squirrel. Closer if I have peanuts in my pocket.

Looks like it's all about lead.

Reid Coffield of Shooting Times Magazine wrote:Winchester has a unique solution to the ongoing trend of nonlead ammo. But our gunsmithing editor wanted to know how the new fodder would affect rifle bores, so he fired close to 2,000 rounds to find out.

"...if I lived in California and had to use a nonlead .22 rimfire cartridge for hunting or general recreational shooting, I could--and would--use it. It will provide acceptable short-range accuracy, and it did not appear to damage my rifle."

It's definitely about lead. We even have lead free pellets, now.

Could you post a picture of one of those rounds? Would like to see what the bullet looks like.

Shown with a CCI Mini-Mag HP and a Winchester M-22. The tin HP is more of a dimple compared to the CCI HP which is a lot deeper. The tin is much lighter in color that the lead M-22.
