Ours is ventless, but we live in a very dry climate here. Works ok here.

Isn’t yours freeze dried i hung up the first load and they came out great! I’m wondering if I should just vent it? Everything is there.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 8:57 pmOurs is ventless, but we live in a very dry climate here. Works ok here.
Second load is washed and it’s drying now. I’m going to monitor it more during the entire cycle.

Re: New Washer and Dryer
I have 48 hours from the delivery to make up my mind. I’m currently on my 7th load trying the different cycles. I’ve done 2 normal loads, 1 towel load and 1 Allergiene load of bedding. I’m really impressed at its ability to clean and dry different laundry.
I was lost at how to operate it until I went online and read the instructions. The book that came with it was very limited and basically said put clothes in and turn on.
People have reported bad drying but I’ve found it dries very well it just takes twice as long. The dryer cycle is where I’m having the condensation problem.

Another load done in the middle of the night. I’ve been running it almost nonstop for the last 40 hours. Eight more hours and it’s mine. The condensation problem is gone and it is functioning perfect.
Next up is to do the electrical work for the ceiling exhaust fan.

Great to hear that your condensation problem is gone. With the ceiling fan hopefully you will be good and not have to go thru the pain and trouble of returning the unit. Fingers crossed for you.

Haven’t gotten to the exhaust fan wiring yet but put in a new stainless steel sink.

Re: New Washer and Dryer
I’m having hot and cold water faucets added to the outside wall so I can install a hand wash sink. I already have the sink. It’s an old pedestal from 50-100 years ago.
That got me thinking about the inside. The new washer sits out further and doesn’t look balanced. Sure there is enough room to get by yet you feel crowded. So why not move the washer all the way to the left against the wall and center the sink counter between the window. That would offset the sink slightly to the right. I toor out the utility sink and installed a stainless steel kitchen sink.
This sink is close enough to service the outside kitchen.
Speaking of the outdoor kitchen I’ve come up with a great new name. Fortyshooter suggested a cool name and I adjusted it slightly. I’m having signs made now and will make a picture announcement in about three weeks.

Re: New Washer and Dryer
Compare my last picture to these. I’m having the plumbing rerouted so the sink will be in front of the window. I’m also having hot and cold water added to the outside just a few feet from my outdoor kitchen.
And after five hours of paid labor.
