A little Carbine customizing!

Post by fortyshooter » Mon Jul 27, 2020 12:04 pm

When I ordered my .45 Colt CCH Carbine I really wanted the standard lever instead of the large loop version.
Thanks to our good friend Vaquero he let me know he wanted a large loop and offered to trade me for the standard lever.

Received the lever and got to thinking how cool it might look to have it CCH to match the receiver.
So I called up Tyler Gun Works and talked to Bobby and he said ship it on down and we'll do it free of charge!
He also thanked me for purchasing a new Henry rifle!

So I sent it out on July 20 and surprise it came this morning July 27. Great and quick turn around and many thanks to Bobby Tyler!!

Looks fantastic and completes the fine shooting Henry Carbine I wanted!

Yes it was a very nice offer from Tyler Gun Works! To hot to shoot today so will just look at it hanging on the wall along with a nice cold beer!
Oh and I need to ship out the loop lever to Randy ASAP!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I've spoken with Bobby several times and would certainly like to have the opportunity to meet him in person .... don't know that it will ever happen but one day I'd really like to have him put a CCH finish on our BBS 44 Mag ....

Dang Forty, she looks good, and I like that lever. It goes very well with the rest of the rifle.
I'm going to put the large loop on my BBB 44 mag.

That was a quick turn around for sure.

Looks sharp. I think the helpful swap is the best part of the story.
