The X Files " Combining Modern Performance with Classic Lever Action Lineage"

Post by brettitt41 » Mon Jun 01, 2020 8:26 pm

Since the X Models are one of Henry's latest offerings and since they deviate from the traditional style that Henry Rifles have brought us for so many years I think it needs its own thread. I am a traditionalist at heart so the first email I sent to Henry CS was can I swap the modern stock and forearm for a traditional set of wood. This is the quick reply I received, "X models all have unique receivers and use pistol-grip stocks with a unique attachment point for forearms. There is no furniture commonality or interchange compatibility with other models, and the X models only come with the synthetic stocks, so unfortunately, there is no wood set available that will fit these models."

Scope mounts-- I used the DNZ Game Reaper High mount for a Marlin 1895 and it fit perfect. They use the same bolt pattern so any other 1895 mount should work also.
